Account Executive - Ticket Sales

Job Description:

DescriptionAuto Club Speedway seeks a creative, high-energy, self-motivated individual with a strong work-ethic to sell hospitality, season, group, and single event tickets via telemarketing and face-to-face interaction. This position will be required to service existing accounts, prospect potential clients, create new group programs, perform basic office functions, attain ticket goals of the department each year, and any other duties as required.Qualifications:Build strong relationships with defined account base through proactive communicationExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to develop presentations for public speaking eventsAbility to multi-task and have excellent organizational skillsCapable of working well in a team-oriented environmentMust demonstrate a high degree of time management, attention to detail and presentation skillsHardworking, dependable and self-motivatedEasily takes direction from others and embraces a team cultureComputer knowledge required (Microsoft Office applications, Internet, etc.)Duties:Generate hospitality and ticket revenue through both new business campaigns and renewal cyclesMake 80+ outbound sales calls on a daily basisLead in creating an outbound sales culture that maximizes ticket sales and revenue generated through converted outbound callsAchieve weekly and monthly sales goalsUse telemarketing and face-to-face communication as tools to sell hospitality, season and group tickets to individuals, companies and non-profit organizationsManage and maintain current client accounts, while upholding a high level of customer serviceEstablish professional relationships to create repeat businessAttend out-of-office functions and networking events, promoting ticket packages and the trackStaff the Auto Club Speedway display at community events throughout the year this will include nights and weekendsDevelop lead generation programs with Consumer marketing team for community eventsWork with Ticket Sales Manager to create programs to qualify leads and move them through the sales pipeline.Create and develop new marketing concepts to generate revenue streamsRace day duties to include but are not limited to: client interaction, networking and generation of new ticket sales and sponsorshipEvent nature of employment may require some weekend and evening work hoursOther duties as requiredEssential Requirements:College graduate (4) year degreePrevious sales experience preferredWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
