lead is responsible for and oversees the English Muffin line by
ensuring our finished product meets the customer's standards and
specifications.Responaabilities: Monitors English Muffin production
area to ensure equipment and operators are working according to
food safety, quality, legality standards, and production schedules.
Monitors products and packaging in the muffin wrap area to assure
compliance with food safety, quality, and legality standards.
Ensuring that all code dates are correct on packaging prior to
shipping. Monitors mixing and production of English Muffins and
assures food safety and quality standards are met. Oversight of the
English Muffin line Preventative Control monitoring, specifically
the internal temperature of the English Muffins post griddle -
Process Preventative Control (PPC), metal detector monitoring -
Process Preventative Control (PPC), and package and Kwik Lok code
and package verification. Responsible for data verification being
entered into MII for the English Muffin line for required quality
checks (e.g. checks at required frequency, failed checks with
action taken to correct (adjustment), and reporting to supervision
(manufacturing and FSQA any issues) Complete Sightline checks
during shift. Record findings on the Sightline corrective action
form and communicate out-of-specification measurements to
Supervision if necessary. Adjusted and placed product physical and
QA on hold as needed. ONLY QA can release the product on HOLD.
Responsible for the cleanliness of the muffin mixing and packaging
areas. Ensure all process documents are brought out of the day s
start and/or collected at the day s end. Ensure start-up documents
are completed daily and any concerns report to supervisors. Keep
maintenance and supervisors informed of any equipment issues by
sending communication emails. Ensure that the metal detector
checks, temperature checks, and packaging verification checks are
completed on time and accurately according to the procedure.
Escalate to supervision any concerns. Complete corrective action
reports as necessary. Keep supplies stocked in the English Muffin
packaging area. Ensure employees are following all SOPs (Standard
Operating Procedures) in your area. Work with Supervisors and
maintenance to maintain equipment in good working order. Ability to
work in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications: A high school
diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months
related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of
education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple
instructions, short correspondence, and memos such as recipes,
build sheets, and par sheets. Willing to comply with PPE(personal
protective equipment) requirements and employee safety practices
Familiar Food Safety Plan Preventative Controls and Allergen
handling procedures preferredShift:3rdHourly Range:$25.00 -

for this position is generally for candidates that meet the
