Job Description:
USS Financial Planning and Analysis - (Full-time, Day Shift) -

The Financial Analyst 2-Budget/Productivity provides reports and
analysis of core operational and financial budgetary information
housed within the decision support system. Generates reports and
analyzes productivity data. Assists with ensuring the accuracy of
cost accounting data to support all financial analysis assumptions.
Advises and educates management on budget and productivity data and
possible improvements. Performs other duties as needed.
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree or financial relevant
certification preferred. Minimum three years financial analysis or
related experience required; healthcare experience preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Healthcare Financial
Professional (CHFP), any other financial relevant certification or
Master's Degree preferred.
Able to extract data from multiple financial systems and
manipulates with ease and accuracy. Strong Skills in at least one
of the following: Problem Solving, Project Management, Financial or
Accounting Reporting, Statistical Analysis, Business Intelligence
Tools (Power BI/Tableau), or SQL. Able to read, write legibly;
speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer,
and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel,
Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment
required for the position. Able to relate and communicate
positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work
calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and
accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in
person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage
multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload;
work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with
accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with
minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear
sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the
telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated
with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and
written documents necessary to the position.
