Job Overview

You'll be part of the dedicated team delivering delicious specialty food items to our customers. Our fast-paced, physical roles receive trucks full of orders, then prepare them for delivery.

• Up to $1,500 sign-on bonus
• Latest model equipment including XM Radio and Bluetooth
  
  What does your day look like ? Some of your duties may include:
  
  • Unload, receive, and place incoming inventory items away.
  • Operate an RF handheld device to scan, pull and pack items to fulfill orders.
  • View prompts on screens and follows directions for some tasks.
  • Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
  • Deliver company products to customers according to manifest.
  • Drive company vehicle.
  • Follow DOT rules and regulations.
  • Follow GFI procedures and protocols.
  • Exceed customer service expectations.
  • Maintain load temperatures according to load specifications.
  • Manage route according to dispatch, jurisdictional compliance, and load optimization.
  • Ability to maintain electronic documents - XRS experience a plus.
    Things you need to be able to do:
    
    • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Carry up to 50 lbs. Push/Pull up to 30 lbs. of force.
    • Ascend and descend a step with a height of 17 in. from the floor and ascend and descend 3 rungs of the ladder, the first rung at 21 in. from the ground.
    • Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions and meet deadlines and be able to work under minimal supervision.
    • Able to stand for long periods of time.
    • Able to reach and bend.
      Things that are a plus but not a deal-breaker:
      
      • Previous warehouse and/or cold storage experience.
      • I year of experience is required.
      • RF handheld device experience
      • Pallet jack experience preferred and or stand-up forklift certification
      • Minimum age of 21 years
      • Valid Class C License
