Job Description JOB SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Auditor is primarily responsible for compliance to customer requirements, processes, and procedures. Works in conjunction with site leadership to support customer conformance standards to ensure the quality of the orders before shipment. Is responsible for attention to detail, auditing, and identifying variances. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Quality Assurance Auditor performs the following tasks: Conducts audits on processed orders and inspects outbound product for quality assurance. Identifies discrepancies or non-conformances such as quantities, SKU numbers, part numbers, label placement, damages, shortages, and/or overages. Scans outbound shipment to ensure accuracy and quality control. Reviews, assesses, maintains, investigates, and addresses customer complaint log. Corrects orders when non-conformances are identified during the auditing process. Records audit results in writing and transfers data on excel workbook. Updates pareto charts. Collects, retrieves, and updates KPI (Key Performance Indicators) departmental data daily. Communicates all problems and concerns to Leadership and provides supporting documentation when required. Communicates and interacts with Leadership and Team Members daily. Participates in 8-Discipline Corrective Action report. Moves product around manually or with manual pallet jack. Performs general clerical tasks such as filing, answering calls, e-mail, data collection, data entry, document, sort, file, photocopy, scan, schedule, print, cut, laminate, and create labels. Collaborates with leadership to complete operational activities. Maintains daily housekeeping. Perform other related duties as needed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Excellent customer service skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, pick tickets, customer orders, procedure manuals, and requisitions. Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Ability to work in a team environment. Good computer skills (Microsoft Office operations). Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in fast paced environments. Strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three years or more related experience, preferably 3rd party logistics or equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents, including protocols, standard operating procedures, customer orders, and pick tickets. REASONING ABILITY: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The performance of this position requires exposure to the warehouse areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and foot protection. The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields. For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
