A Day in the LifeAs a Safety Coordinator, you will play an important part of the safety team by providing health and safety support to Operations and ensuring compliance with corporate, federal, state and local regulatory requirements. You'll be working with products from awesome clients that are heavily involved in the active lifestyle. -What does success look like in this role?The ideal individual must have the ability to manage, train and develop all NRI employees. They must have effective communication and interaction across all levels of the organization. They must be comfortable to work independently but also embrace collaboration and working within a dynamic, positive team while having a customer service outlook. - -The following schedule is available for this role:Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM -Starting Pay: -$27 - $35 an hourLocation:Fontana, CA or Ontario, CA -(To be determined) -All About YouWhat You'll Bring to the Role: -

• Safe working techniques and ability to re-enforce safety policies, guidelines as set in regulatory legislation -
• Provide excellent customer service by exhibiting good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel effectively and calmly within emergency and non-emergency situations -
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently to meet company deadlines with little to no supervisor -
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills -
• Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities -
• Trustworthy and moral character (we use pre-employment background & drug tests) -The Must Haves: -
  • Must have 12+ months of -safety experience in a safety role
  • Associates degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred -
  • OSHA 10/30 certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910 preferred - -
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred -
  • Must be 18 years or older to apply
  • Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. - -Things You Will be Doing -
    • Coordinate Safety Committee Meetings, review incident/accident trends, present safety opportunities while tracking and communicating processes on post-accident/incident investigations and reviews. -
    • Maintain safety training schedule and creates a culture of mindfulness of safety practices and incentive programs. -
    • Tracks, Maintains, Archives, all safety training documentation, databases to keeps a real time status. -
    • Conduct monthly building audits and communicate corrections to appropriate departments. -
    • Ensures completion on Safety Incident -Injury Investigation Reports (SIIIR) packing on all post-incidents within each facility with Operations Management team and conduct root cause analysis (RCA). -
    • Assist with maintaining the Site Emergency Response Plan and procedures. -
    • Following---NRI safety rules, safety procedures, security protocol and standard operating procedures (SOP).--- -
