Job Description:

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Ophthalmology is currently seeking an ophthalmologist specializing in Comprehensive Ophthalmology / Anterior Segment to join our full-time group of ophthalmic subspecialties and generalists. Completion of an approved ophthalmology residency program is required. The applicant must be Board certified or eligible. Responsibilities include patient care, research, resident teaching and supervision as well as teaching medical students. Clinical and surgical experience should include cataract surgery (with premium IOL usage) and laser procedures ( Yag capsulotomy and iridotomy). Must have experience with the management of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, eye trauma, and other urgent eye conditions. Provider will participate in the hospital consult services and on-call panel (including globe trauma surgery).Public Service Loan Forgiveness This opportunity is not eligible for a J1 Waiver.We are a California Employer - Please note that a California residency is required upon start date.
