LLU: Admissions (Full-Time, Day Shift) -

The Admissions Specialist-CRM assists in the development and support of various application platforms. Supports the operations of the Admissions Office by maintaining and improving the functionality of Slate or other CRM software. Imports data into Slate from a variety of sources to provide support and training to various users. Researches, tests, implements and maintains data systems in order to provide effective, accurate, and timely services to the admissions team, our prospective students, and the broader community. Analyzes changing operational needs, researches best practices, and implements new solutions to improve processes. Ensures reliability, accessibility, and integrity of departmental data and systems. Performs other duties as needed.

Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum one year experience supporting CRM or SIS database software systems required. Minimum one year of experience in higher education records, clerical, document imaging and word processing preferred.

Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Preferably has knowledge of Slate Forms, Rules, Events, Scheduler, Deliver, Workflows, Portals, Queries, Configurable Joins, and data integrations. Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position; Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
