Our Projects are based out of Southern California area counties. We produce Custom Cabinetry/Millwork for Hospitals, Schools, Labs, Churches, Commercial buildings. Position Overview: We re looking for a full-time Machine Operator with experience in Edge band machine, Nest CNC, & Point to Point CNC with Cabinet Making experience.Employee will work full time in our shop in Fontana. Workload will include but not limited to setting up and running SCM Edge banding machine, Running Panels on CNC Nest, machining single parts on a P2P CNC, installing Doors/Drawers/hardware onto cabinets as well as miscellaneous Fillers, Soffits. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of management. We need an employee that is able to work at these different areas, we are a cross trained shop. Any experience with CNC is a plus as we'll train to run our machines, experience with Edge Band machines is a must, we'll train on how our machine works. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Consistently be at work Monday - Friday 8 hour shift (5am - 1:30pm), with some overtime as required. Ability to interpret drawings and follow directions to achieve design intent Work independently with little or no direction while achieving completion date/Time Working knowledge of Edge banding machine Knowledge of different types of edge banding: .018/1mm/3mm PVC, Wood Tape, Plastic Laminate Working knowledge of Wood working CNC machines Knowledge of CNC tools / Operator maintenance Use Manual tools throughout the day as required: knowledge of 32mm System cabinets Sanding wood when required Construct Wood Fillers, Soffits, Separate Bases, miscellaneous wood products Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Must be able to communicate effectively in speaking and writing English. Spanish speaking is a Plus Read & interpret Drawings. Operate an Edge Bander Operate CNC Machine Use tape measure, inches & millimeters Knowledge of Inches, Millimeters, Angles Custom Cabinetry experience Countertop Experience (is a Plus) Working knowledge of Plastic Laminate Familiar with Woodwork Institute Standards Zero tolerance for Alcohol and Drugs (including marijuana). Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Basic math and reasoning skills. Punctuality, Dependability and Reliability are critical.
