The Order Processing Lead provides direct support to the Order
Processing / VAS Supervisor and oversees the functions of the team
members. The Lead supports the supervisor to drive solutions to
support growth goals, process and quality improvements. With a
focus on results, will support and drive progress ensuring timely
processing of orders and commitments by the Operations team, while
collaborating closely with the supervisor and all functional areas
of the organization to drive process improvement and innovation
Duties & Responsibilities
+ Order Processing
+ Ensures orders are picked and packed as per Client and
Customer specifications and are within goals of service
+ In collaboration with the Supervisor, plans and handles
fulfillment labor requirements.
+ Works with Supervisor and the Inventory Management team
regarding MIA?s and LF to bring to a timely resolution.
+ Communicates with the CSC team regarding any escalations,
anomalies or orders that require specific focus.
+ Ensures that condensing is completed to ensure utilization of
space, while balancing labor requirements.
+ In collaboration with the Supervisor, communicates
expectations to team members and monitors the daily performance of
+ Ensures there is training, cross-training and development of
+ Ensures safe operations of the business specific to their area
of accountability, while being vocal about safety concerns in other
+ Focuses on process improvement that will drive efficiency,
quality, safety & reduction of waste.
+ Performs other duties as requested.
Skills, Abilities and Expectations:
+ Proficient technical capabilities, inclusive of tier one WMS
+ Proficiency in MS Office Applications
+ Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing
+ Decisions have a critical effect on the organization?s
reputation, team members, client services, policies or
+ High school diploma preferred
+ 1- 3 years of relevant work experience.
+ MHE experience a plus
+ Knowledge of Aspire, computers and email
+ Physical ability to carry out the duties, including the
ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, walking and standing for
extended periods, climbing ladders, and tolerating conditions such
as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
+ Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
+ Experience preferred in continuous improvements to drive
customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency and safety.
