**Minimum Clearance Required to Start:**
The Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Office at the
Army National Training Center (NTC), Fort Irwin, CA is seeking a
permanent, part-time (18 - 20 hours/week) **Administrative
Specialist** in support of the ITAM Program and on-site ITAM staff.
Duties will be performed under supervision of Parsons' Project
Manager and general instruction by the ITAM Coordinator.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Create new databases from scratch or take an existing database
and create queries, reports, relationships, etc.
+ Track and maintain on-site employee training and certification
+ Manage leased vehicle records.
+ Develop and implement required site-specific plans (safety,
property control, document control, quality control).
+ Plan, execute, and track material and travel expenditures.
+ Prepare and submit monthly status reports and purchase
+ Compile and submit annual report summarizing all of the ITAM
activities completed during the year.
+ Submit reports, updates and provide input for briefings and
+ Well organized and possess good oral and written
+ Ability to use computers and strong office management and
Microsoft Office background to include excellent Word, Excel,
Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
+ Maintain hardcopy and digital record and/or files
+ High school diploma
+ 0 - 2+ year related work experience
+ Ability to obtain and maintain DOD network clearance
+ Ability to successfully pass NAC-I (National Agency Check with
+ Ability to obtain access to base
+ Valid driver's license
+ Must be a US citizen
+ Knowledge of or experience in working with the U.S. Army ITAM
+ Practical working knowledge of military training techniques
+ Demonstrated experience with military training readiness with
corresponding experience in military range or training area
+ Prior or current military service or previous experience in
working with the military
+ Ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time
+ Ability and willingness to use protective safety equipment
+ Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. While indoors,
incumbent will be exposed to normal office temperatures and noise
operating a personal computer and related office equipment. When
outside, incumbent may work in seasonal inclement weather and
adverse environmental conditions.
