Job Description Job Description Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description Prepare leather and composite helmets for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and ensuring proper surface preparation. Operate spray guns to apply primer, paint, and protective coatings with correct pattern coverage and finish paints to the specified color, viscosity, and thickness according to technical requirements. Perform quality checks on painted helmets for defects, consistency, and adherence to standards. Maintain knowledge of appropriate cleaners and materials for paint application and surface prep. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Complete required production and quality control documentation accurately. Assist with minor assembly of helmet components as needed, following detailed instructions and specifications. Support organizational goals by performing tasks that align with core values and growth plans. Responsibilities Prepare work to be accomplished by reading procedures, parts lists, work orders, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Operate spray guns to apply primer, paint, and protective coatings. Perform quality checks on painted helmets for defects and consistency. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Accurately complete all necessary production and quality control documentation. Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization’s core values and help execute growth plans. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Minimum 2 years’ experience in painting. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Attention to detail and an understanding of what makes a good, quality product. Ability to use fine motor skills to piece unique materials together. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to follow the Lean concepts of manufacturing. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with design and mechanical design using Solidworks. Knowledge of injection molding. Proficiency in painting preparation work, spray painting, and using spray guns. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
