We focus on delivering top-level services in high-tech and challenging industries, particularly in the Pharmaceutical/Bio-Tech and Themed/Attraction sectors. Position Overview We are seeking a SharePoint Developer with a specialized background in technical writing and experience in the construction industry. This position is focused on the development and management of a SharePoint platform dedicated to Engineering Project Delivery (EPD) . The primary objective is to build a centralized repository that organizes all training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and corporate policies. The successful candidate must have the technical expertise to build the platform and the writing proficiency to author the content, ensuring all EPD documentation is clear, accurate, and accessible to the entire organization. Key Responsibilities EPD Platform Development: Build and configure a SharePoint-based Engineering Project Delivery platform to centralize project data, training resources, and technical procedures. Technical Writing & Content Creation: Research, draft, and edit comprehensive technical procedures, safety policies, and project delivery guidelines specific to construction workflows. Training Information Management: Organize and maintain a library of training modules and instructional materials, ensuring they are logically structured for company-wide use. Process Documentation: Work alongside subject matter experts to document complex engineering and construction workflows into standardized, repeatable procedures. Information Architecture: Design intuitive site navigation and metadata tagging to ensure users can quickly locate critical policies and EPD documentation. Platform Administration: Manage site permissions, version control, and data governance to maintain the integrity of the EPD platform. Required Qualifications Construction Industry Experience: Significant experience working within construction or engineering environments; must understand the terminology and requirements of Engineering Project Delivery . Technical Writing Background: Proven professional experience as a Technical Writer , with a portfolio of work including SOPs, policy documents, or technical training manuals. SharePoint Development: Advanced proficiency in SharePoint Online, including the ability to build custom sites, libraries, and integrated workflows. Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex engineering processes into straightforward, written documentation for a diverse workforce. Software Proficiency: Experience with the Microsoft 365 suite, specifically Power Automate and Power Apps, to streamline documentation approval cycles.
