Job Description NEW Surgical Technologist | Direct Hire Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support a busy Operating Room by preparing and maintaining the sterile field, anticipating surgeon needs, and ensuring safe, efficient surgical procedures. This role is essential to delivering high-quality patient care and supporting a collaborative surgical team environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures Maintain the sterile field and adhere to aseptic technique at all times Review preference cards and proactively prepare for upcoming cases Anticipate surgeon needs to facilitate efficient procedures and minimize patient risk Communicate effectively with surgeons and surgical team members Act as a patient advocate, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Apply AST standards and hospital policies to all aspects of care Assist in identifying and responding appropriately to intraoperative emergencies Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent training BLS certification (American Heart Association) required Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred Interested!?
