Urgent opening for Nurse Practitioner for Fontana, CA locationJob Type: - Full Time(M-F)Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status- Assist with prenatal care, including physical examinations, ultrasounds, and laboratory tests- Monitor fetal development and maternal health during pregnancy- Educate patients on pregnancy-related topics, such as nutrition, exercise, and childbirth preparation- Assist with labor and delivery, providing emotional support and managing pain- Perform postpartum assessments and provide care for both mother and newborn- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for OB/GYN nursing practiceExperience:To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:- Previous experience working as an OB/GYN Nurse or in a related field is preferred- Familiarity with dialysis procedures and acute pain management techniques- Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine for end-of-life care- Experience working with pediatric patients in an OB/GYN setting- Proficiency in aseptic technique for infection control- Understanding of medical coding practices for accurate billing and documentation- Ability to lift and move patients as neededFocus will be with GYN cases and some OB, if schedule shifts seeing well women visits. Some Video appointments included along with clinic coverage; Strong GYN experience required. Must be comfortable doing own Ultrasounds and dating down to 8 weeks. Patients per Day/Volume: Scheduled 12-13 patients for morning 4 hours and afternoon 4 hours.
