This facility is seeking a Telemedicine Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.Details and requirements for this opportunity:Schedule: Monday Sunday, 8:00a-5:00p (Providers will work 5 x 8 hour shifts weekly). The client would like the providers to be able to do 2 weekends per month (Every other weekend), if needed.Job Setting: Virtual (Providers can work in a call center if they want).Types of Cases: Main focus will be with weight management patients and medications, but will fill in panels with cold, flu, and covid patients as needed. New Appointments for weight loss will be approximately 30 Minutes, with follow up appointments being 15 Minutes. Estimated volume for cold and flu patients will be 5 per hour.Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days.Licensure: Must have an active California state license.Certifications: Must be Board Certified and have a an active Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).BENEFITSAMN Healthcare typically arranges medical or dental malpractice insurance for the contractor providers we match to client opportunities.
