Job Description:
Medical Center: Radiology Core (Full-time, Day Shift) -Our

Analyst-Radiology is responsible for effectively promoting process
improvement (PI) by providing facilitation and education regarding
the PI process. Provides support for the various PI projects and
assists in the assessment of clinical and non-clinical processes
for identifying opportunities for improvement. Provides support for
multiple departmental committees. Ensures accurate data collection
for process improvement. Responsible for coordinating the quality
improvement, peer review, proctoring, and re-credentialing duties
for the Department of Radiology and its Medical Staff. Maintains
knowledge of regulatory standards as required. These services may
be provided for both the LLUMC and LLUCH hospitals. Performs other
duties as needed.Bachelor's Degree in healthcare field, business,
or education preferred. Four plus years of experience or Associates
/ Technical Degree and two plus years of applicable experience can
be in lieu of a bachelor's degree. Minimum one year of experience
in the field of quality improvement, with additional experience in
the acute care setting required. Certified Professional in
Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required within one year of hire.Medical
terminology required. Knowledge of statistics and its use
preferred. Able to read, write legibly; speak in English with
professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs
necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Operate or troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the
position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively,
and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously
when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to
communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on
the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments
effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under
pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay
close attention to detail; work independently with minimal
supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear
sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the
telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated
with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and
written documents necessary to the position.
