Program Type: Crisis - Individuals in crisis can access CSU
services on their own or by referral. Referrals to the Merrill
Center will be accepted from the San Bernardino County Department
of Behavioral Health (DBH) outpatient clinics, full-service
partnerships (FSP), DBH Community Crisis Response Teams (CCRTs),
law enforcement and first responders, hospital emergency rooms,
mental health assessment teams, and other county medical clinics
and departments.
# of Chairs: 20 chairs with four reserved for serving youth of all
ages.
Who We Serve: Adult and youth residents of San Bernardino
County.
About the Program: The Merrill Center is a short-stay crisis
stabilization unit (CSU) that offers 24/7 services to adults and
youth. The Merrill Center aims to increase access to crisis
services, reduce inpatient hospitalization, reduce the amount of
time that law enforcement is involved in a mental health crisis,
and strengthen the existing outpatient behavioral health
services.
Merrill Center is under contract with the San Bernardino County
Department of Behavioral Health.
The Licensed Administrator manages all aspects of the day-to-day
operations of the Program. This involves ensuring regulatory
compliance and actively overseeing quality assurance performance
improvements. Additionally, the Administrator collaborates with all
corporate departments and outside consultants and represents the
Program to State/County agencies, community partners, and consumer
groups.
Schedule Salaried, Monday - Friday, Must be available to consult
for client crisis on nights and weekends.
Telecare proudly participates in wage transparency. The full Wage
range $105,541.80 - $155,218.70. We anticipate a realistic starting
salary of $105,541.80 - $125,000.00. Telecare applies geographic
differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this
role will be based on the geographic location from which the role
is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience
above the minimum requirements.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
* Masters in Social Services with a state license: LMFT, LPCC,
LCSW, Lic PsyD or PhD
* Four (4) years of experience in an administrative management
position in a health care setting
* Two (2) years of responsibility for supervision of professional
staff, budgeting, program planning, and licensing

* Acts as culture carrier; creates and supports program culture and

* Manages all strategic planning activities of the Program with the

with internal Employee Relations, and when necessary, disciplinary
action within the Program.
* Manages the Program within allocated budgetary parameters and
collaborates in the development of the fiscal budget
* Provides Clinical supervision upon request
* Practices psychotherapy for the purpose of assessment, diagnosis
and treatment of individuals, couples, families and groups
specifically related to license (social work, counseling, marriage
and family, or substance abuse) [for Arizona Programs]
