DescriptionGeneral Summary:The Quality Manager is the prime lead for managing all aspects of quality, process improvement initiatives, risk, and compliance related to quality matters for the Adelanto manufacturing locations. They will maintain a close and collaborative working relationship with central corporate resources and site manufacturing managers. The Quality Manager will ensure that site actions achieve full compliance while simultaneously enabling a safe, efficient, and effective quality program that is able to achieve all balanced scorecard metrics.Role and Responsibilities:Direct the work of Quality Inspectors and Technicians.Ensure all quality-related programs are developed and implemented to ensure compliance to all applicable standards and regulations including training, self-audits, Supplier and Third-Party Audits, Management of Change, Process Control, Management Reviews, and CAPA.Support the review of supplier pre-qualification and documentation for completion and efficiency and partner with all suppliers to ensure that all requirements are met.Engage corporate resources, as needed, to support compliance and issue resolution.Lead the investigation for all manufacturing-related Quality non-conformances, trends, including CAPA (corrective and preventative actions) reports.Other duties as assigned.Experience and Education:Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational, Health & Safety or related field preferred.Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quality Management position.CQE certification or equivalent experience is desiredEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
