Position: Technical Copywriter (Gaming) Location: Fully Remote Status: Freelance 8-12 hr/wk Estimated Duration: Months Starts: Ideally 2nd week of September Hourly Rate: $55 - $60 /Hr Job Description: Our well known 3D software client is looking for a Technical Gaming Copywriter who is passionate about Gaming Development to work with their team on an ad-hoc basis ongoing with - 8 - 12 hours/week at least up until Christmas! Strong potential to extend into 2024, depending on pipeline and fit! This Technical Gaming Copywriter will be: - Write and edit gaming case studies and whitepapers, feature articles, blog posts, and some potential for other assets - Take technical, feature oriented information and create accessible content - Ensure that all copy is in line with the brand and tone Skills/Experience: - At least 5 years of technical writing experience for gaming industry; open to former game developer turned writers - Must have technical samples that showcase understanding of gaming engineers' experience and pain points especially around memory, bandwidth and overheating hardware - Experience in the AEC space is highly preferred
